The kinetoscope was a motion-picture film projector that was invented in 1891. In it, there was a strip of film that was passed through a lense and an electric light bulb which was viewed through the peephole. Behind the peephole was spinning wheel that showed a clip from each of the 46 frames passing through it making it seem like the objects were moving. Having the kinetoscope allowed the people back then to watch what are now are movies. Without a kinetoscope we wouldn't be able to go to the movie theaters. We would have no type of visual entertainment.
